Curriculum - Other Programs

There's always something going on at the French-Australian Preschool!

Below is a list of events currently planned for our children:

23 June 2017 - Wadjiny - aboriginal performance by Troy Allen (incursion)

Troy Allen, from the Bundjalung Nation of aboriginal people, uses song, music and didgeridoo, dance, artefacts, examples of ancient rock and cave paintings and firemaking demonstrations to tell the stories of his people.

This interactive cultural awareness programme is delivered in a fun and educational learning environment where Troy quickly builds rapport with students. He tailors the content to the age of his audience and all programmes are designed to be thought provoking and to encourage discussion of his rich and diverse culture.

21 July 2017 - The Amigos Show (incursion)

The Amigos show is an incursion that incorporates music, song and dance to take us in a magical journey through different parts of Latin America. The Amigos Show has been inspiring, entertaining and teaching children since 1995.

In the show Raul has all the children actively involved in the performance. They particularly like the enormous range of instruments Raul has and uses. The most outstanding thing about the show is Raul’s great rapport with the children.

25 August  2017 - "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" (excursion for Petite Section)
